Soul Whyte’s single”Take Off” hitting airwaves and IPods

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

Hey everyone - “Take Off” is on ITunes now, too, as well as on www.myspace.com/soulwhyte. Thanks for downloading “Take Off”, which is the new single from my upcoming album.

I am grateful for the interest across Canada on Top 40 radio stations. My single is getting added to more stations every week.

Right now, I am hard at work in Toronto in the studio. This album is a new experience for me, as I have been involved as a songwriter on all of my songs. Writing with other people is great way to be creative. I enjoy Toronto and am getting to know my way around.

Follow me on twitter - @soulwhyte, as I continue on this adventure.

Thanks always to my fans!

Back from Canada Music Week and New Video of Show

Tuesday, March 17th, 2009

Happy St. Patty’s Day to all the other Irish out there (especially my Dad!!)

Toronto was great! - I was really inspired by all the talent.  I loved the shows (Lights, Randy Bachman, Gowan, Kreesha Turner), enjoyed chatting with people (like Gene Simmons! Cory Lee and Ish), and catching up with Mike and Troy from Hip Joint.  The seminars were a great learning experience - but the Kings of Songwriting really made me want to get to that level of storytelling in my songs.  I saw a new way of looking at performing after hearing Tom Jackson.  Of course, I was very lucky to meet up with some of Canada’s Music Directors and to meet new people as I mixed and mingled.  Thanks again to Andrea Morris and Joe Wood for being such kind “hosts”, and I am looking forward to working with Diane Foy(Publicist).  I had a chance to pass out my cards and talk about music with great people that love it like I do.   I look forward to following up with the great people I met and those that were kind to take my CD and check out my music.

My showreel video is up on my website  & Sonic Bids’ website, too.

My website -  Click on “video” on the left - top of the menu.

Sonic Bids - Click on the Sonic Bids link on the sidebar to view my EPK (Electronic Press Kit), and then on video on the upper menu.
